Thank you to all our guests who may be part of the My PKG Rewards program, and thank you so much to all who joined and supported the program since its launch in 2019! Recently, you might have been shocked to hear that the My PKG Rewards Program will end officially on May 15th, 2023. At PKG, we want to take this opportunity to share several important updates with you regarding this decision:


Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for being a part of My PKG Rewards. We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the My PKG Rewards Program. We understand that our Rewards Program has been an excellent way to express our gratitude to loyal guests like you. However, unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to end the program, effective May 15th, 2023 (midnight PST). 

As you know, we (and the rest of the restaurant industry) have been facing challenging times due to increased costs from our vendors and services. Our commitment since day one has always been to keep prices affordable for our guests without sacrificing the quality of our food or portion size. We have been exploring different options to keep our menu affordable but refuse to cut corners when using healthy ingredients like ABF proteins or preparing our dishes to order from scratch daily. The tough choices we have come to then are either removing the Rewards Program or increasing menu prices. We recently surveyed guests to see what they preferred, and the majority chose the former option. 

Therefore, we will end the Rewards Program effective May 15th, 2023, at midnight PST. You can still earn points and rewards until this date. And, of course, we will honor all rewards earned before May 15th, 2023, until it expires. For example, you earned a reward on April 29th, which expires in October. In that case, we will honor that, so you have plenty of time to come in before the expiration date without rushing.

We understand that this news may be disappointing, but we made this decision based on our guests’ valuable feedback and always want to be transparent about our changes and why.  

Thank you again for being a loyal member of My PKG Rewards. We appreciate your support and hope that you understand the difficult decision we had to make. We will continue to work very hard to provide you with the same quality food and service that you have come to expect from us.

At Panini Kabob Grill (PKG), we are committed to taking actions that prioritize your safety and wellbeing at all times. As we navigate through these unprecedented times together, we are more dedicated than ever in finding ways to best care for our valued guests. 

Amid rapid changes, we continue to improve our operations daily to ensure the safety of both you and our employees whether it is through takeout, curbside pickup, delivery, or any in-restaurant experiences. You may experience new changes in the ways we have adapted to better serve you safely. 

At all times, we are reviewing the evolving situation and closely adhering to state and local health guidelines and ordinances to help protect the health of the communities we value. Please see some of the latest changes guests may experience:

Team Members 

– Our employees are required to wear company provided masks and gloves while working. We follow up with our staff daily to ensure they wear both masks and gloves safely. 

– We have enhanced protocols in place such as requiring employees to wash their hands every thirty minutes with warm soap and water as well as sanitizing and disinfecting high-touch surfaces often. 

– When clocking in for their shifts at PKG, each employee is given a wellness check which includes reviewing a list of symptoms (including those of COVID-19) and undergoing a quick temperature check. If employees are experiencing symptoms or otherwise feel unwell, they must go home. PKG employees are provided paid sick leave. 

– We are following all guidance provided to us from the CDC, local, state, and federal agencies. We make every effort to constantly inform our employees and train them thoroughly to ensure they are informed of the latest updated information related to COVID-19 and recommended safety procedures.

Contactless Ordering

– We encourage guests to order online and pay ahead via our website or My PKG app for curbside pickup or contactless delivery to limit the amount of person to person contact. 

– For our guests’ safety and well-being, all restaurants have gone cashless to minimize the amount of person to person contact as well. Credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards are accepted. 

– Delivery orders are served in tamper-safe packaging to ensure orders have not been opened by anyone other than the guest.

Inside the Restaurant 

– We have new signage that directs guests on how to access our digital menus easily from their phones. 

– We have rearranged our dining rooms and patios to enforce social distancing both inside and outside the restaurant, This includes creating separation between delivery drivers picking up online orders and guests walking in to place their orders. Employees are monitoring both entrance and exit at all times to enforce limited capacity for guests’ safety. 

– Hand sanitizer stations are available for guests’ usage inside our dining rooms. 

– Contactless pay options are available via Apple Pay and Android Pay. 

We truly appreciate your support and patronage over the years, and we continue to be here for you. While we may serve you with new changes in operations, we will always remain committed to providing you a quality experience with delicious food – all while protecting your safety.

At Panini Kabob Grill (PKG), it is our mission to give back to the communities we serve daily. During these unprecedented times, we continue to search for meaningful ways to give back, especially to those who may need it most. It is with great excitement that we can help our local seniors stay home and stay healthy through our latest partnership with Great Plates Delivered.

Great Plates Delivered is a program that seeks to provide nutritious, free meals to qualified seniors daily, who otherwise cannot go to the store or get food for themselves due to the pandemic. We previously joined Great Plates Delivered in Los Angeles County and are proud to announce our latest partnership with Great Plates Delivered in Orange County. Since we’ve joined this charitable program, we have assisted them in their efforts by providing seniors three fresh, delicious meals daily. At this time, we have served over 2,200 meals in Los Angeles County and 250 meals in Orange County.

“With several restaurants in Orange County, we will be pleased to serve many seniors in need who may have been adversely affected by COVID-19. It has always been part of our principles and beliefs to give back every way we can to our loving and supporting community. Now, more than ever, we must rise to the occasion and help those who need it the most” stated Jose Jimenez Director of Public Relations.

As with all food we serve, we are proud to prepare it from scratch in our kitchens daily, with exceptional quality ingredients and healthy proteins such as antibiotic and hormone-free (ABF) chicken, sustainably raised Atlantic salmon, organic tofu, and more. We continue to maintain this same food quality in all meals provided to local senior citizens. 

If you or a senior you know maybe in need, we encourage you to apply in two easy ways as listed below. Please note that only qualified seniors who are part of Great Plates Delivered will receive free senior meals. These meals are not on our menu.
